I have been having a problem with excessive stuttering during gameplay.  My game will run extremely smoothly for 5-10 seconds then stutter and return to running smooth.  This is a constant problem and is driving me absolutely insane.  I have brought the settings as low as they will go and as high as they will go and see the same results.  I have not seen the excessive load times that other people have complained about, but I only have about an hour of gameplay in as I have been trying to resolve this issue.

Any help is appreciated.

System Specs:

Windows Vista 64
Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz
8 GB Memory
BFG GTX260 Maxcore 55

I have much the same problem, but my smooth gameplay will last for perhaps a minute and then the stuttering remains.

revert back to an older version of the nvidia drivers.. someone mentioned the latest beta release also resolves this problem

I am also experiencing this on a:

Win 7 64 bit

core i7 920

6Gb Ram

1Gb Radeon 4870 with latest drivers

I really want to enjoy it as I love Bioware games but it is unplayable at the moment!
