Hey,

 

I'm a bit confused and hope you guys can help me.

 

After visiting Val Royeaux I have 2 story quests left:

- Siding with the templars: There is a huge keep on the war table and I need 15 Power to access it. (There is a warning that if I activate this mission, I cant't side with the mages anymore)

- The second quest is about visiting the mages in Redcliffe. (without any warnings)

 

So, did I get it right that I have to choose one? Or is it possible to do the mage quests (because there isn't any warning) and then which faction to side with?

Visiting with the mages in Redcliffe is a normal quest, but needed to proceed the main story. After what happens there, then you'll have a Keep for the Mages with a warning. Yes, you'll have to choose one of them to further the main story.
