I will ask you three questions
1 - What's your source for the information stating: "A dog is able to sense that a woman is pregnant".
2 - What does this source say about how dogs recognise the smell, what does triggers the reactions, and if is it all documented under the form of scientific tests.
3 - How many times, in every single scientific test, has the dog's behaviour been observed to have changed significantly and for the only cause of pregnancy, excluding all other causes, both biological, environmental or any else.
Apparently it is commonly known in veterinary medicine, since I once had a family dog go through signs of false pregnancy. Thinking the dog was actually pregnant she was taken to the vet, and after being examined and determining that wasn't the case, the first question the vet asked if there was a pregnant woman in the house. (there was). The vet stated it that false pregnancy wasn't uncommon in dogs living with pregnant women.
An anecdotal story isn't what you're looking for, but that vet's statement is enough for me. The vet had verifiable credentials, while random people on the internet don't.
