I, along with many others, am having problems logging in and connecting to the Dragon Age Servers, rendering me unable to import my data. Why isn't there a way to export the keep data, possibly as a file, and import it directly into Inquisition?

Because there isnt. It wouldnt work on consoles anyway

Huh, I know this was at least discussed early on in the process. Making the process completely dependent on online connections is still questionable in this day and age.

That's just the way it is. There is no, and will be no file transfer available, ever again.
The Keep is EA's and BioWare's attempt at rectifying the bug issues that pledged their flag systems in the past two games, thus far, it has accomplished that goal though it too is a bit buggy. It was made by BioWare after all, so it's to be expected.
Just get use to it.

The flag system didn't have to be so broken, their programmers and QA could have just done a better job.

But they didn't, and we don't have anyway of changing the past. Maybe they'll make a Dragon Age Anniversary Edition in the future, who knows.
