It doesn't really bother me I think it looks cool!
Am I the only one who likes the flashy combat?

I prefer it over the combat in Origins. In that game, I'd constantly press B on accident and waste a health potion. And I like the attack camera thingy whatever. Though, I never use it. I don't feel the need to.

I'm sorta traditionalist in that I prefer games with low magic stuff and more believable combat. Just don't dig on particle effects like the next bloke.
Which is why I despise mages and I'm making it my characters singular mission to exterminate them. But Solas is just so hard to be mean to, damn it.

I dont dislike it, its more the actual function of combat im finding hard to like, similar to DA2. You can have both tactical and flashy combat.

I could do with a little bit less flash... A little more realism would, for me, be a good thing. That said, it's not a deal breaker.

It depends on what aspect and what you mean by flashy. I don't have Inquisition but I love the way magic looks. Magic should be bright, flashy, and colorful.
For the mundane combat techniques, I prefer the slower but more realistic combat of Origins, with the possible exception of a melee rogue. For magic, I like how it looks now. Are there any spells like the 3 large AoE elemental spells from Origins in Inquisition? I'd love to see how they look.

I know alot of players prefer DA:O combat, but for me this was very boring, I love that I can have action combat during weak enemies and when fighting big groups or bosses, I can switch to tactic mode and make a strategy.
As a RTS and Action game lover, I like the combat in this game alot.
