I've done everything i possibly can in the quest up to the point where i have to "acquire writing on rift magic". I know that it is supposed to be with solas on the desk against the wall but it isnt there. I vaguely remember picking something up off the table when i was first exploring skyhold before i got the quest. I also can't find the book with the merchant that had all the books. I don't really know what else to do. Any advice?

Same trouble here. Not sure what book I'm suppose to get...I found one book vendor and nothing about Rifts.

not sure but isn't the book besides Solas at Skyhold ?
