I edited my world and saved then started a game and it completely forgot my settings.
So now I got a dead warden. and he is now a she.
I played 22 hours and feels like I have been riped off.

 

Have any one else experienced this.

Did it say it successfully uploaded a custom world state when choosing your class and gender? It's worked fine for me several times.

It worked for me. It should say successful update when you do it.

It appears some people are having trouble when doing it the second time. The first time it works, the second time their custom world state is deleted and can't be restored. So, everyone who says it works for them: did you attempt to start two games with different Keep worldstates?

My experience is on the pc so I definitely can't vouch for the consoles. My experience with DA Keep imports has been fine. Have imported 4 different world states. All have worked fine for me.

I have the same problem. My Mage warden is now a Dwarven nobleman. Thought it was just the codex that was bugged, but now he is being referred to as a dwarf in conversations as well.

I can't explain that, but OP it sounds like you have the default worldstate. That has a Dalish elf female who died killing the Archdemon.

I only had one problem with da keep import so far. And that with a Male Cousland who married Anora the cameo in redcliffe mentioned King Alistair.
