Romance question (a romance option's name is mentioned in question, if you're avoiding spoilers to that extent)

I didn't take the first flirt option when it came up with Scribbles (Josephine), and another has not presented itself yet, have i locked myself out of romancing her by not choosing the response?

It's still quite early in the game story line, I believe it would be classed as act one, as the inquisition is in the first area you unlock as your base post the tutorial (not sure how to do spoiler quotes, hope that is clear yet evasive).

Relatedly: my Quizzy is in fact flirting with a range of people - is there an obvious lock in moment once she decides who she wants to get serious with?

There is an obvious lock. It actually says begin romance with ________. I dont think missing one is a big deal, but I think completing her personal quest is a prerequisite, but It comes a bit after you get Skyhold. You are confronted about your flirting with her and you decide where to go from there, this happens when you go to talk to her presumably after hitting on her multiple times.

There is an obvious 'lock in' moment.  You have not missed it.  At a certain point you will be asked to choose who you like most, but you can skip a bunch of flirts before that point and still end up with who you want.

Thanks guys! I figured, just everyone else has had multiple flirt options (& I think i took all their first flirts, just not hers), but since she has only had that one moment so far, I started to worry I *had* to take it to keep her as an option. Glad the lock in moment is obvious too.

I have a question along similar lines - I'm still early on, and have had flirt options come up with Cassandra (I'm playing a female, so didn't try them ;)), but none for Josie or Cullen. I've just had the a cutscenes with Cullen and now all I get from him is a repeated line about keeping peace... Do I need to do something else in the main quest before I get these options, or have I missed the first one/s? I'm happy to go back a bit if so. ;)

*Mild spoilers*, but have you gone to Val Royeaux yet? You'll be able to speak (and flirt) with Cullen after that (and he'll have moved position, down near Cassandra with the soldiers).

I haven't! I wondered if that was what I needed to do, was just worried I'd missed something and wanted to check I hadn't before I progressed the main quest. Thanks so much for the reply! :)
