Can anyone clearly explain how the critical crafting works in Inquisition? I have been trying over and over to get one to work, but the % chance to increase all stats by 10% doesn't seem to work at all. I select the schematic, fill in materials, and use a bear claw or dragon tooth in the masterwork slot, but it's the same result every time. I have tried with different weapons many many times and after about an hour of research and testing I just can't figure this system out.
- How will I know if it does work, will it say Masterwork somewhere on the finished item?
- Does saving/reloading work when trying to critical craft with these masterwork materials?
- Since the game says you have a chance to craft masterwork items with this method (via the quest intro), does it only work on schematics that do not already have "Masterwork" in the name?
- WHY IS THIS SO CONFUSING?! There are masterwork schematics, masterwork slots, masterwork mats, and a chance to create masterwork items when you critically craft. Unless the whole system is just broken and doesn't work, this is not a clear way of communicating to the player how crafting works!
