Seems like everything I do gets my Inquisition more power. So much that I never ever feel like "Oh, I need to go out and get more power to do this thing on the War Table." Not like I really mind, but I kind of wonder what's the point with all the power when I never feel like it's a limited resource.

Have to agree. Finished the game with an extra 300+ power and nothing to do with it, seems like quite a waste.

I'm glad we don't have to grind for power. Would be really dumb to have to go escort a druffalo, collect blankets, or whatever other uninteresting side missions you don't want to do just to progress the story or open new areas.

The way it currently is you can do the content you think is interesting and never be forced to "waste" your time on padding.

While that might be a valid point. For those that actually did grind for power there should be something to do with it. Same thing with the shards, you collect them you gain a reward for doing so. Honestly it should have been used as a resource for other things like: have too much power trade it for gold, influence. Use it to speed up the war table stuff (even though you can change the system clock to trick the game), use it to gain approval from your companions if you screw something up. Or use it to give more time during enemy attacks to your base. Whatever happened to stuff like "Crestwood Under Attack" kind of events?

I'm glad we don't have to grind for power, but it did feel like it came too easy.  I saw that I needed a whopping 15 power for something and said "this should be fun," expecting that I would obtain power through a narratively-satisfying series of actions and events, but I started getting power for capturing un-gaurded monuments and getting some ram meat, and had 15 in no time.

Having to grind for power to progress in the main story would be extremely terrible so thank god that they didn't make it harder to get. It's mainly there to not overwhelm players with options anyway.
