Does the matchmaking seem off to anybody else?  I'm located in Texas, and, for the life of me, I cannot get into a group hosted by a person located in North America.  When I host, normally the game doesn't fill, but when it does it is with European players.  I'm not averse to playing with people from all over the world, but I know they don't want to lag all over the place either.

Surely I'm not the only person in all of North America trying play DA:I multiplayer?  I don't remember ME3 mp having this issue.  You would occassionally get in a Euro player's host, and even then the lag wasn't as bad as DA:I.

I have noticed this too. It seems like the only time I don't lag is when I am playing with friends in the US but if I go to match making I cannot find a match most of the time today and if I do its usually from a Spanish speaking country. Meanwhile I am from the Pacific Northwest in the USA. Nothing against people who speak Spanish I just don't know how.

Live in NZ and the matchmaking kept trying to pair me with what I am assuming were Russians (based on how the sound of their language although it admittedly isn't really an indicator of where they were playing from).

Not sure why we can't refine our search parameters or get basic connection info like ping which I hoped they would have learned to be good ideas as these issues were also present in ME3.

Also would like the connection to host lost error on joining game (quick search) to put me back into queue / search rather than sending me through a couple of obnoxious load screens and then to the previous menu where I manually have to search again.

Also in Texas, have been able to join maybe ~3 playable games out ~20 searches over a weeks time.  Disappointing.  Spent -a lot- of time playing ME3 MP, looking forward to DAI MP.

Update: Well my issue was probably unrelated.  Added the line: -GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+ to the origin launcher and disabled origin in game as I read somewhere it improved single player cutscene performance.. reverted both changes and I was able to join a MP game fine.

I play with Origin disabled just fine.

The framerate commands you added cause desyncs, that's a known issue from the start. It can create desyncs in SP game in conversation too.

I can join lobbys fast and create them. But it seems, the game needs about 5 or more minutes to throw people in my lobby.
