Games like Assassin's creed Unity and Far Cry 4 do it... so i'm beginning to think that its a standard that should be set, considering a lot of people are going for the PS4/PC combination for this generation.
If it's not too much trouble it would be really cool to see this. I'm having a lot of trouble playing with the PAD on pc because of the limitted options of the Xbox 360 controls. Opening the map for example on the PS4 is much quicker because you can use the D-pad to do that. and tactical pause is also more manageable on DS4. I also personally prefer to see the X, O Triable and Square buttons cuz they are cooler.
