Just started playing, some items are not salvageable in inventory.  How do you get rid of these items?

I dont think you can.  I think they are the emergency backup weapons, just in case you accidentally salvage everything else.

 

Though if that was the case, it would be nice if they werent listed, instead just hidden if you have a weapon of that type.

Thanks, that sucks to be honest.  Not only are the orginal items you get not salavgeable i've already gotten two suits or armour that are not as well.  And this is after only playing about 4 games so far.

People are stupid enough to salvage their only weapons so the inability to salvage default weapons is mandatory.

Armor is flat out unsalvageable. Dang shame when most of them are palette swaps.

A better solution would be to simply make these items be the default weapon if no other weapons are equipped.  This would also save them clogging up inventory space.

Would like to be able to salvage potions I do not use.  BW, please consider this option.
