Since we PC guys can't even get any hate mail, I am very interested to learn what you console guys get thrown at you from time-to-time. But please, since the previous thread got locked down right away, no vulgar messages.

A new record for me

Got called a "grenade noob" in-game by a player who is somewhat notorious around here (name rhymes with "pedantic math"); they then sent a longer message after the game about how I should learn to play and not just spam grenades (this is after a match in which his Javelin GI got outscored something like 3-to-1 by my Assguard) AND turned on their mic to brag about how awesome they are, how much CP they have, how much better they are than everyone else, and so on- alas, his rant got cut short by his third and final kick vote. Good job buddy. 

 

*needless to say, after I got that "grenade noob" message in-game I spent much of the rest of the match following them around chucking lift grenades at their feet...

"Dude, you're BOTB and you still have unmaxed URs? And your N7 is only 2000? Effin banner hacker go kill yourself."

 

From a siege pulse spammer in a juggernaut duo that I completely carried through more conservative pulse use:

"i died bc u dont pulse the **** is ur problem bro go bac 2 bronz"

 

From a level 1's first time in platinum:
"STOP FREAKING KILLSTEALING ME! YOU ONLY HAVE MORE POINTS SINCE YOU DON'T WAIT FOR ME TO KILL THINGS!"

 

 

These three are definitely my favorite. Runner ups include "u talk some bull, bro" when I ragequit from a Silver GIP when I saw three juggernauts with Squad Command dying and I said something into the mic about the other option being better if you're too inexperienced to survive, and "If you steal my grenades one more ****ing time, I will chop off your tongue" from a TGI who apparently called dibs on my supply pylon.

Lol I think that most PS3 BSNers have one day received a hate mail from F**********H, it's almost a part of the ME3 experience on this platfom  . For me the term was "glitch noob cheater". I'm not sure about the exact circumstances, I think I had nuked two Praetorians. I tried to explain him that it was to reduce the risk of freeze, not for score, but he refused to understand apparently.

 

But the day after that, I meet him again in a gold PUG game. The other players are bad, so I have to carry heavily the team and revive him a good number of times in the first waves. He starts then to call me "buddy" each time I revive him and send me a "GG" message at the end !

There was this one time when I was playing the Salarian Engineer on Bronze against collectors. Round 10 begins. The squad of one Juggernaut, one Turian Soldier and a Human Adept is wiped out after escorting the drone around. 

I am alone. I had never carried a game before. Being a Salarian didn't add to my confidence. 

1 Ops Pack and a Medi-Gel later... I successfully complete the wave. Chest pounding. Sweaty hands. Cheap adrenaline. Reminds me of why I love games. 

We extract on wave 11. The Juggernaut later sends me a message. ''F****** a**hole''. The body of the message reading: ''F****** score wh****. Why the ***** do you have to steal all my kills you cheater?''

 

Later I completed my first solo (as the Salarian Engineer) just to celebrate.

On a similar note, there's another player on ps3 of comparable notoriety (name rhymes with "Texas Tutsi") with whom many players have recounted unpleasant experiences, but who has always been reasonable and helpful when I've played with him (and didn't send any butthole messages or get on his mic, as he has apparently done with others). Luck of the draw, I guess.

i've only gotten a few and that was way back when the game started. other than that it's usually people shouting and swearing over their mics about how i'm stealing their kills. i love it when they do that though because it gives me a reason to mess with them throughout the rest of the match.
