Trying to fibd two of the mage cached. They seem to be up on mountains? Any advice

Also have tried tackling a rift and there seems to be one more difficult than others?can we leave the slobe abd come back (level 4)

The cache near the tough rift is actually close to where you find scout Ritts. The marker seems to be misplaced.

I the second cache you can't find is the one near the camp you should find it just behind the camp tower. Right click on the marker on you map so you'll fid it easier.

There are a couple of tough rifts in hinterlands, and yes you can return to them later. All should be doable once you hit lvl 9. Just remember to use regen potions and barriers and whathaveyou...

It helped me clear the tough rift to have both my mage and Solas equipped with Dispel. I didn't realize this the first time I tackled it, but you can use Dispel to prevent new demons from forming between rounds. This will decrease your opposition substantially. Even if you don't have two mages with Dispel, having one mage with Dispel will still be beneficial.
