I'm posting this here because I've noticed some people are PC savvy. I've always been a gaming laptop person and I've been considering getting something new recently, Inquisition is really what's on my mind right now so I'd like any opinions. Here are the specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7 4700HQ 2.4 GHz

RAM: 8 GB can be upgraded to 24 GB max.

HDD: 1.5TB can be upgraded or replaced by SSD.

GPU: GTX 870m with 3 GB of memory

OS: Windows 8.1

My current laptop is an Alienware M14x (and I'm honestly never buying an Alienware again), and all those specs are higher than mine, I'll add my current specs if anyone is curious:

CPU: Intel Core i7 3610QM 2.3 GHz

RAM: 16 GB

HDD: 1 TB

GPU: GT 650m with 2 GB of memory

OS: Windows 7

CPU is good, GPU is the same as in the GTX660ti (but with slower VRAM) which is fast enough for a mix of medium/high settings @FHD @ 40fps+. i would spend more money and get a notebook with a 970M though.

Check reviews on heat dissipation too.

I'm using almost the same config  -  i7 4710 HQ, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 860M 4 GB graphics.

Gives me a steady 40 FPS with High settings. But if you're buying a new PC I suggest a more powerful CPU.

Hmm alright then, thanks guys I don't really care if it doesn't run at 60fps on 1080p anything is better than my current rig I'd say.

Check reviews on heat dissipation too.

Watched a few reviews and it seems the computer and its series in general is renowned for good cooling systems.
