I'm sorry, but Ultrabooks were not made to play games with. They were made to be light and have long battery life. They were not made for heavy tasks such as gaming. I don't even know an Ultrabook that has dedicated graphics, because it simply eats too much energy. You don't buy Ultrabooks for gaming. You buy them for portability. So I mean, come on, you can't blame Bioware/EA for not actually trying to support these, even if they account for half the market.
But they do play games, and well, so I'm not exactly sure what your point is.
I'm playing DA:I on a ultrabook right now, and it's running smooth and fast on Medium. I played Shadows of Mordor on High. I've never tried a game that wasn't playable.
If you want a future market for PC games at all, they have to cater for ultrabooks, because they are becoming the PC market. You're simply not going to get triple AAA titles designed for PCs that aren't just console conversions, because the market has collapsed out the bottom of the PC gaming - and arguing that they shouldn't cater to the only growing PC market is shooting yourself in the foot if you want to play on any PC at all.
The desktop PC market will be an obscure niche in 10 years. It can't support proper AAA games that aren't from consoles right now.
