I might agree, were it not for the fact that my partner finds L4D2 "too scary" to be in the room with me if I play it. No such problems with ME3, and she actually enjoys observing my Banshee-phobia.
A guy who said he hadn't played ME3 in over a year dropped into a game last night - Collectors/Ghost/Gold - and was commenting along similar lines to the OP. It was one of the best games I've been in recently, in some ways due to the admitted shortcomings the game has on PS3, but I was thinking the same thing myself.
It's a fantastic game, made all the more enjoyable when circumstances conspire to enhance its co-op nature. I've never wanted to shoot a real human being in the face, and have no desire to do it to a virtual one. I don't get PvP, and I doubt I ever will. I really hope Bioware stay away from the concept in ME4
Doesn't offer competitive play? I highly disagree.
this doesn't even make any sense? i mean i have no prob with people disagreeing with me, but its a fact. We have the game.

L4D broke the mold and held the title of best co-op for a while for sure.
Then ME3 came out and knocked it out the park.
I went back and had a couple of games recently of L4D2 and it just seems pretty boring and lacked variety.
There's only one that that is undefeated, and it isn't a computer game.

FTL is right,it can get very competitive depending on who you are playing with. Some games I play for sheer fun,and some just too see how many medals/points I can possibly throw down. It's an epeen thing.
A good example is with me and N7_5P3CTR3,we're always trying to outscore/medal count each other just for lulz.
Can you imagine if ME4MP ends up sucking? I'm pretty sure that would be the definition of hell.
Yes, yes it would. I'm going to go ahead and not entertain this possibility, as doing so would probably have negative consequences for my emotional health.

Yahtzee?
Yahtzee?
I'm thinking Rocky Marciano.
Saw a video about DA:I MP. Fell asleep.
Unless they patch it somehow, I see little future on it. At least from my part.
Chuck Norris is defeated by Bruce Lee in Way of the Dragon.
He is not defeated. He is killed by Lee.
Explanation if there's need for one:
I saw an interview with Norris once, and they asked him about that famous scene, and he said that Lee called him and told him what he had in mind, so he replied: "So you'd like to defeat the Karate World Champion?" To which Lee replied: "No. I want to kill the Karate World Champion.".

Pretty damn good but my favourite Chuck Norris joke isn't there. It goes something like - Lee Harvey Oswald didn't assassinate JFK. He did try to kill him but Chuck Norris threw himself into the path of the bullets and deflected them away from the President with his beard. Kennedy's head exploded out of sheer amazement.

If you're going to make claims as outrageous as that here, you're gonna need to build up some street cred first, son.
You lack the head knowledge.

If you find that claim outrageous then you have my sympathy, theres really nothing to be outraged about - the facts speak for themselves.
L4D2 doesn't hold a candle to ME3. Sorry.
Chuck Norris is defeated by Bruce Lee in Way of the Dragon.
'Twas linking a list of Chuck Norris jokes.
I was never big on multiplayers before ME3. It's the only one that's ever kept me coming back for more.
It's damn addictive . Whether that's good or bad. I'm not quite sure. ![]()

Fine. L4D2 is boring.
Evolve when it comes out ... *maybe* ... though technically that's co-opvp and I think it's gonna need a few more big ol' monsters to keep the interest going for long.

Well, most of the progress via DLCs were for the worst. But there still were things that showed improvements & that BioWare can still be very capable. Condor is a very excellent map. And Collectors are the best designed/balanced and most fun faction it the game. Period. I just wish they were able to keep the game balanced with each DLC release instead of breaking it more and more. And the kits, well. The originals are still the best outside of a very few exceptions like... er... oh yeah! The Geth Engineer.
And, uh... oh yeah! The Geth Juggernaut!
But a lot of other kits just suck. Like the Geth Trooper with a Flamer he can't detonate & is just there to annoy others with it's glicthing very loud Flamer sound that most like to spam none stop like they only have a Shuriken. And why do we even have the AIU when we already had the HI that most folks slapped a shotgun on already? (Heck, the HI even has a shotgun equipped on the character select screen, lol) Lots more weird pointless repeats like this.
And speaking of repeats. Oh yeah, I so much prefer the Hazard levels with just new textures instead of totally brand new levels that would of greatly extended the life of this game further!!!! Then finally make a new level for the last DLC and not release it. Brilliant, BioWare. Just brilliant. (Don't take this as offense, BioWare, just that it saddens me very much)
Well, with constant bright ideas as this, my hopes are certainly not anywhere near high. At all. And I'm totally fine with it. Lots of other games and game companies to support out there if this series bombs with ME4. It's that simple to me. As this is not the first time I've been let down by a very fave series turning sour. Happens all the time and is to be expected.
+1 for Evolve. It is primarily 4 v 1 PvP though which will turn a lot of people off. But still quite easily the most intriguing and original game coming up imo.
