I was wondering if there's anyway I can exceed the 15min mark on uploading videos on YT without giving them my number.........
pretty pathetic this is the only way of verification YT has of this...I would think a simple email or a second email or something besides giving them my phone #.

I remember getting the "You can now upload videos longer than 15 minutes" notification and all I've been doing is uploading. I guess it could've changed in the meantime. The Google takeover has been terrible that way.
Either give them your phone number, or split up the video.
