My character, upon finishing the conversation before a battle (in a main story quest) was in casualwear, the armor having disappeared (and a change back not being possible because inventory is inaccessibly in battle).
I haven't played further yet, but I couldn't find a similar thread so I thought I would put it here for the benefit of the devs.
Amazing game and one that will be better still with these things fixed!
