I read an article about how Dragon Age is a Life Ruiner.

You play

Go to work

Think about it all day

go home and play some more

when your better half distracts you and you dont get to play, you think about that

rinse and repeat.

I have like 26 hours in my save, and i feel like 10 hours of that was "idle" distracted time

I want to play more!

Anyone else having fun?

For months, I have been carefully arranging my life so that when the game hit I would have nothing to do but play. I cleared my calendar, filled the fridge and freezer with food and warned my family and friends that they wouldn't see me until I was done. So far, it's working great!

Thats awesome, luckily my gf will sit and watch me play. But still, life takes over man. I'll be doing 3 full playthroughs for sure before i pick up anything else i think

Yeah there's so much to see and do! When doing quests get stale I simply go through the main plot....until I deviate again :-)

Yes! I'm about 16hours in, an I feel like I'm not even 1/3 of the way in! I just keep strolling through all the lush environments, I'm a crafting junkie, so that's taking up a LOT of my time.

I MUST get every iron, onyx, elfroot! I MUST look at every combo, look at every schematic

Oh, I wish I could say that I've been playing a lot of Inquisition. What I'm about to say might scare a few of our younger forumgoers, so you have been warned...

*whisper* I only get to play Inquisition for half an hour a day, and I don't have weekends off!! *sob*.

Honestly, I cringe every time I see someone say, "Oh I'm about 20 hrs in...".

I die a little (okay, a lot) inside whenever I see that one Scuttlebut (spoilers) topic about the end of the game. I mean, I never click on any of those topics (I hate spoilers), but just the idea that some people out there have already finished the game... madness, I tell you.

Same boat as me, sucks writing these essays when I could be increasing the Inquisition's influence.

Haha yeah it's deffinently one of those "oh ****, it's 4 in the morning!!?" type of games, which is pretty rare for me. Even if i really like it i rarely play a game for more than an hour or two. But this game and the TES series... i can waste an hour just running around town not even progressing.

Oh, stahp, you're making me cry :(.

Just imagining being able to play a game until 4 AM.... yeah, I would do the same, but when you have to wake up at 6 the idea is suddenly less attractive.

Glad you're having a lot of fun with the game though. I spend almost all day thinking about how I'm gonna play it in the evening. xD

5:30 am i stopped playing.

46 hours into this playthrough, and I haven't really dug into Act II yet.

I'm gonna need another pot of coffee here...

I have 1 Data Structure project to work on, that'll need me to study Java and Android and Object Oriented Programming to an extent, I know nothing of any 3 of them.

I have 3 Math projects that also need programming stuff.

1 Information Systems project that need me to do something different every week, whether it's analysis, investigation, planning..

Not to mention the need to study 6 subjects, one of which -Math- I'm absolutely dreadful at.

Got MTs next week. Finals on January.

So yeah.... My life's ruined. Fortunately I have enough willpower to get myself to study and work a bit, but Dragon Age. cjcqjljssadq.

Can I present my 35 hours played to my professor and get bonus marks for em :P Gaming is related to computer science, no? :D

I always tell myself "just after I do this, I'll go to bed!"

"Okay I know it's late, but I really should go get this book for Vivienne.  Oh okay, there's another quest nearby, I should just go pick that up, then I'll get off.  Oh, I'm pinging, I should just go pick up that Elfroot.  Oh wait, there's a rift nearby, I can just close this one rift and then I'm done.  Oh wait, I can't leave until I've sent my advisors off to do operations!  Oh but I certainly can't log off without chatting up Solas for a bit..."

And on and on.

I could play right through meal times too, I just keep going in Inquisition. I have to tear myself away just to make a quick meal for tea and then I bring it back in front of the game XD.

So true. I have a few days to finish a task. Still I spend every spare hour either playing the game or thinking about it. I guess I need to take a few days break from the game before I am really in trouble with this task :)

Well done

Absolutely.  It's times like this I wish I were some trust fund kid who could spend all day doing what I want and still get to eat.

Every waking minute not spent working has been spent thinking, dreaming about, watching videos of and reading about, or playing inquisition. I load up on coffee at work and plant myself down in front of my tv. I'm completely and utterly obsessed. Sleeping, eating, bathing has become completely irrelevant. I did the sam thing when me3 came out.
