I think you nailed it on the head OP!
I do enjoy the time with my significant other though, nothing is better than that...
but otherwise it is intoxicating how addictive this game is

WOW, I'm 15 hours in and LOVE IT!! I'm moving really slow in the story but am in the middle of conquering my very first major part and am having a ball.

I've struggled with some of the PC problems (freezing, camera angle, terrible melee combat) but I'm still loving this game. I bought DA:I for the story and the ability to choose how things unfold. So far, it's been everything I've hoped it would be.

The fact that my boyfriend and I are having legitimate arguments about who gets to play the Xbox and who has been playing their game more (to the point where we are actually clocking each other) ... is probably a testament to the fact that I have a problem.
But I really don't care.
I'm loving this game so much right now. ![]()

Thats amazing. My GF seem to like watching me play Witcher 2 more, shes excited for the third one. haha Dragon age (right now anyways in my playthrough) is alot of Hinterland fetching, not as exciting.

And this is why I'm not buying the game till my semester/exams are finished. Yet, somehow, I've still managed to spoil half the game for myself already...

Life these days:
- playing DA:I
- longing for the next time I can play DA:I
The fact that I work all day and that when I play I'm able to waste an hour just listening to the bard singing... This game is going to last forever and I love it.

I didn't go to classes all week last week and forgot to eat one of those days. Still not done.
That's only the start! I managed to schedule myself a five day weekend to play, but I had to put off doing my assessments.

I am having the most fun I've had since 11/11/11. Maybe more.
11/11/11 was a great day. Had a viking party. My ex was complaining that her house was overun with vikings. There was mead and meat.

I've been having tons of fun as well and haven't enjoyed an RPG this much since 11/11/11 as well. My biggest problem right now, though, is that I bought DA:I, Super Smash Bros. Wii U, and Pokemon Sappire this week and now I struggle to divide up my time between them. I also have 2 reports due for college when the week ends and I'm worried I won't have time to play much this week even though it's fall break.

Come on! Play Dragon Age. All of the Dragon Age!
Smash Bros is a fighting game you can pick up whenever and Sapphire has too much water!
Save the Planet instead

Yeah I've been working 16 hour days lately (not even counting my other obligations...like ya know, the wife), pretty much 100% of that time is spent wishing I was sprawled out in a confy chair playing Inq. Thankfully the military conditioned me not to need to sleep ever, so I do still get some time in with it. That and trolling the forums helps.

Must be a pain for you if the game crashes then?
Stop wasting your time on here then?
I'm on console, and technically I'm not supposed to be on here right now... but the internet is universally accessible, unlike my Xbox xD.

Yeah, I got on midnight at 20th and have slept 14 hours after that. Thank the creators that I was on vacation. Now I am at work, dead tired and Dragon Age is constantly on my mind. Haven't done this after ME3, but that was much shorter game. Best game ever IMO.

And more! I hated the PC controls though, and once I got a connector for my Xbox 360 controller to use with my PC my life changed. I now see the Maker's glory, and my Qunari Mage will redeem all that has been socially constructed against her kin. The Inquisitor will lead all of Thedas when I'm done. All thanks to my nifty controller. (For real though PC controls suck ass.)
