I seem to remember seeing, in some of the gameplay videos, that we can customize the look of the companion's armours and things like that. Where exactly can I do that?

I seem to remember seeing, in some of the gameplay videos, that we can customize the look of the companion's armours and things like that. Where exactly can I do that?
You can equip them with any armor that isn't restricted from their class or race. I changes the companion's appearance but the armor is somewhat changed to reflect their individual style.

Yes but I thought you could mess around with it and sort of pick your own look for it?

Well, through crafting the color schemes change based on the materials used I think. Also, adding upgrades (arms and legs) adds armor to those areas and thus changes the appearance. Other than that I don't think it's customizable.
