I'm still surprised they didn't bring back the Warden for the Adamant Siege.

Haven't been on the forums in a few days now, so right now I'm just checking up on my thread.

To anyone who comes across this thread. Give me your thoughts on it by all means. That's pretty much all that I have to say for now and I'm out!

I've seen quite a few threads popping up asking for the warden to return and to be honest, why not? Give him/her a dlc, make him/her the protagonist of the dlc, have no voice actor, no dialogue wheel - just a plain dialogue list like in Origins. Just make it one big fan service! It would be pretty sweet to have the warden meet up with all the old companions again too. Alas I'm probably just dreaming now though...

My Warden's dead. I got all the closure I needed seeing his cairn in Redcliffe Village.

Same. Only way my Warden can return is via zombie.

After drinking Avernus' potion and sparing his life, my Warden could technically be immortal or at least live for many centuries. The Warden can be such Mary Sue with the right choices. I don't mind never seen again my Warden, but I'll like to make her/his presence felt. You can play it as seriously or played your humorously as you want. Make a quest were your player character has to kill an impossible powerful demon only anti-climatically find out that The Warden already did the job for some laughs.

No mention at all?

Morrigan has like 3 or so "Ask me about" options where she mentions the Warden, she even says she fully intends to rejoin "Her Warden" once the inquisition stuff is done.

Alistair doesnt even mentions a romanced Warden? thats harsh of him...

In my game, my Inquisitor was able to ask Alistair about the HoF.  I don't remember exactly what he said--something about them both working on separate projects but that they'd be together again when that was done.  Alistair is a Warden in my file.

I agree with you on the DLC part, but by all means the Warden should have a voice actor as I stated in my first post on this thread. :)

So Alistair does mention the Warden in Inqusition afterall. Well I'll be damned. :)

I would rather have the warden as PC actually, a dlc however nice it could be, woudlnt be enough.

Remember that it still exist 2 old gods in the deep roads. A blight is still guarantied. And i would love to experience the same kind of romance you had in DAI but between leliana and my warden.

I'd rather like to see my Warden again at some point, provided they can pull it off.

I'd understand if BioWare doesn't want to take the risk, but I'd really enjoy it. I miss my Warden, made me a bit sad to see her left on the sidelines a bit this game.

I'd love for the Warden to make an appearance. It could be a running joke that he is silent. Like every time you see him he has a really bad throat and their love interest has to speak for him/her.

Or they could go a more serious direction like the taint/calling took his voice if they cannot figure out how to properly do a voice for him/her. I guess the biggest problem especially with a DLC is if the Warden makes the ultimate sacrifice at the end of origins. But even that you can get around similar to the way Stroud could have been Loghain/Alistair.

If he died at the end of Origins some fans have a conclusion for that character, I like the suggestion that he walks off with his romance (Morrigan and Kieran in my case) after extending his life and preventing the calling as a sort of conclusion.

If you read my first post on this thread, I did say that all Bioware would need to do is provide two default voices (four if you count both male and female) for the Warden like how they did with the Inquisitor. Then all that would be left is for the Warden to make an appearance like just like Hawke did. :D

Try seven like in origins. The more voices you have to choose from, the it is more probable you find a voice you actually want and are satisfied with.

Which is what also was a success with DAO, even of was only in combat

Really, the fact that you could customize Hawkes appearrance in the game and not the Wardens, was really unfair of Bioware. Instead of making this useless multiplayer, they could have used their resources to bring the Warden back. People say that it is impossible to bring him/her back...........IT IS NOT! Three races, elf, huma and dwarf. Then seven backgrounds (that could easily be simply mentioned), female and male voice (for example.: male dwarf or female elf), and customize his/her appearrance like with Hawke in DA:I.

I remember that Mike Laidlaw once said on panel, that if they decide to bring the Warden back, they need to do it right. Then do it right.

Considering every Wardens from any Origins is at exact same place atm, far west looking for a cure to the Calling, I think this is a perfect time to have a Warden DLC and just get the Warden's story over with. Don't bring up the Warden's whereabout everagain(-cough-DA 2 ending) in future games, just some of their past deeds and how the Warden is with their Love, or just living happily. Then perhaps people will stop wanting to see their Warden back.  I was really satisfied with where Awakening and Witch Hunt ended, but nope, just have to bring up the Warden again at the end of DA2. So, I think a Warden DLC to end it once and for all is needed

what I truly wish is that even though I want an end of the wardens story, is to have one final game with him as PC considering that it still exist 2 old gods in the deep roads waiting to be awoken by darkspawn. The Archdemons and blights stays like a shadow looming over the world of thedas: a future blight is guarantied.

SO why not create a final game later with the warden and the characters that started the whole franchise: Alistair, leliana morrigan and so on along with new faces. The blight scenario works as we saw in DAO.

That reason is the only thing keeping me away from a dlc to finish the wardens story off.

I doubt they will make the Warden the protagonist for a main game again, although I do love the idea of bringing the crew back, the one who are still alive and also no Sten who is busy being Arishok and end it with a bang.  The protagonist for a DLC, very possible.

I only want this DLC because Warden is my fav DA protagonist, and I just want his/her story to end, so people will stop wanting to see their Warden again. While I love my humorous FemHawke and starting to like the Inquisitor, I will always love the Warden more. Of all the 3 protagonist, s/he is the only one who begin the hero journey because of his/her skills (except you Dalish Origin, I don't like you). The Inquisitor, even Cory said it, a thief who got to the wrong place at the wrong time. And Hawke, well, it's Hawke, while I love those humorous dialogue, 7 years is just too much compare to the other 2 protagonists.

This is exactly what I along with many people are saying! Now or a few months from now would be the perfect time for a DLC for the Warden! It would also be nice if they include the character your Warden romanced with, such as Morrigan, Leliana and Alistair for instance and they would help look for the Warden with you. :)

I hope Bioware bring us a DLC in which I will use the Hawke or the Warden,to anyone staying crying that '' my Warden died '' brings the Hawke who did nothing in the entire game.

The Warden already IS on the game....

Yo can write a letter to him via the War Table.

It may be in a whole expansion named "The Calling" Where he can cure it alongside Fiona and some other characters, maybe the inquisitor.

I sure hope they do something along the lines of that. Maybe as a bonus, depending on who your Warden romanced, he or she could make an appearance in the DLC or expansion as well. Since, my Warden romanced Morrigan, I would definitely enjoy seeing a reunion between them and their son! :)

You do find out what happens to your Warden in the game - mine wrote a letter to me explaining exactly what she was doing and why she was doing it, not to mention giving me a gift - how nice of her/me. And since I'm fond of both my Warden and my Hawke, I was also glad to see my Hawke and have her involved in the current story. BW can feel free to make more story DLC about either of them if they like.

After I did the War Table quest involving the Warden, the game made it pretty clear he/she is not returning to the universe in pixelated form.

Kind of sad, but the Warden's story is pretty much done if there's an option of being dead in the main game that they were PC of. I doubt Dragon Age is going through another Blight any time soon. I mean that was pretty explored in the first game. I want to see the next big, amazing but not so far-fetched crisis in the universe.

Plus with the foreshadowing from Inquisition, I don't think the next one is going to be specifically about the Blight.
