Hey there.

 

I just got Dragon Age: Inquistion and I just created my character.

 

After the starting cutscene I seem to be stuck in a place called "Frostback Mountains"?

 

And everytime I create a character I get stuck here.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I've tried repairing my game but that didn't seem to fix it.

I'd like clarification on "stuck in frostback mountains". Maybe you just haven't figured out the fast travel system...

Hey, i've got the exact same problem, i've tried reinstalling twice, repairing it like a dozen times and still same problem..Maybe its because i got the download version and not the CD version?

I'm not sure if that's the case, but the "fix" for unlocking 30 fps in cutscenes (you know, the " -GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+" one) brakes the character creation. After being "touched" by the glowy-lady I got stuck in greenish mountains place.

 

If that's what you are using, disable the fix for character creation.

I'd like clarification on "stuck in frostback mountains". Maybe you just haven't figured out the fast travel system...

It's a brand new character, straight after the starting cutscene it places me in a place called "Frostback Mountains". I cannot exit that area or continue. I'm stuck there with no quest, no direction, nothing. This happens right after you create your character.

 

EDIT: Reinstalling it seemed to work for me.

 

I was using the fix for unlocking the FPS as well, and double checked it was definitely removed from the game properties too.

Could u be more specific into the fix for unlocking the fps? i have no idea what your talking about

Start the game using ORIGINS and import your Game World from the Keep or use a default world state.

I started the game bypassing ORIGINS and got stuck were you are.
