I know this because before..I used to stand outside for midnight release. By the time you get the game let's say it's 12: 15 or even 12:45, then you go home..say 10 minutes mim/max..now to load the game. Let's say that takes about 15 minutes with even the most advanced systems..

Then it's 1: 15 or 1:20, by the time you actually put in the code, started it and going through early stages of the game. By the time you get really into the game it's going to be time to sleep, unless you plan to stay up all night. If case was you stay up all night


Then you would be very tired playing it through the day and sooner or later would have to sleep, most likely late afternoon that day or....

You could get it the next day around 1:00 or 3:00 pm, load it and do all that stuff..have about nine hours or ten to play before laying down in bed...maybe I over think this

Going to the midnight release at my local Gamestop (Cali baby!). The only class I have tomorrow got cancelled (the timing could not have been more convenient) so I'm gonna sit on my ass all day gettin my ME2 on.

Carson, CaliforniA here!! I will try and go to the midnight release at my Gamestop. Thats if I don't get tied up with work.. But I'm 99.8% sure I will go to the midnight release.

Thankfully I live in a small town, and theres 5 gamestops within a 20 min drive. MW2 only had 20 ppl at midnight launch and thats alot for midnight launchs around here. So basically i can leave 15 mins before 12 and i wont have to stand in line.

I live 15 minutes from BFE. (literally) Closest Gamestop is a 30 minute drive and closest Best Buy is over an hour drive. So .... no ME2 until after work tomorrow for me. Hooray for KY?

i called gamestop again just to see what time they would recommend stopping by, and he said to not forget all the other games being released and having the same kind of event: MAG, no more heroes, etc. yikes. didn't think of that! i plan on going a little earlier now...

Strange. I see the item for the collectors editon is backordered on the gamestop website. How many people around the world must be expecting their package next day delivery hate see the post office like that. Although, I haven't got the code yet or tracking number

I don't know if UPS has even picked up the item to be tracked, though I am awaiting eagerly:crying:

Charleston, SC My son is leaving in a few minutes. He is asst. manager of the Gamestop in this area. He's picking up my CE PC edition and hardbound guide which he told me I got one of the only two available for this particular store. And he is getting his 360 version. My son and I do a lot of gaming together.

Wonder what time I should leave? It's around 10:11 right now and I've never ever been to a midnight release. Was going to leave at 11:30 but may have to leave earlier. Might bring my ME Redemption book as well...

Nevermind I actually took the time to read some of the responses on the thread, looks like I'll be heading out around 11:15 or so with my books still. Sorry! , anyway can't wait to play

Just got back from the 10:00 open. I completed my payment, traded in a few old titles, and will head back at midnight. My local GameStop only had (6) ME2 CE pre-orders, and they got no extras to sell. They do have extra standard editions to sell.



Now, for a long 1 hour 40 minute wait.
