Whoever he is, he's sneaky. When I went downstairs to find this guy, he was nowhere to be found, and when I made my way back upstairs, I could no longer find his little interaction bubble.
Either he bugged out and was stuck in the floor (in which case, reloading didn't fix that), or he was raiding my stash of alcohol (in which case, he will suffer if I ever find him).

OOH... Cass (I think it was Cass) did talk about Leliana having a pet nug at one point when I ran across some while I was exploring. She couldn't remember its name, though. And if Leli did get a pet nug, it would be probably be underground somewhere... LOL. I'm gonna keep an eye out for future sightings.
There's a letter to Leliana that references Schmooples the Second.
As for Lord Trifles Minutiae, I found him at the stables. If you enter from the front or side entrance next to the horses, you can go outside on the right side of the barn. There's nothing to interact with on that side of the barn except for Minutiae.
I was able to highlight him through the painting on the wall down there, but there don't seem to be any passages that lead behind there. I found him at the barn before and took his quiz, now I'm curious to follow up since it's a pretty entertaining easter egg, but I can't walk through walls.
I found him ontop of a broken part of the wall behind a roof. He poofed before i could awnser.
I want him to come back. I want whatever prizes he gives.
Found him inside the vault after I have progressed the story far enough.
