http://www.joystiq.c...free-right-now/

So apparently everybody had the opportunity to download the Collector's Armor / Terminus Armor and such for free, without even needing the DLC code. I feel rather cheated, to be honest. :-I

EDIT: I know it's a little late, but will they not be able to access it through EA servers?

Is this in America? What about Europe? When Dead Space did a free exclusive dlc called Elite armour, i just downloaded it even when i did not have the game. You should of just done that.

There wasn't that much coverage on this thing from what I saw...sucks, cause I really dont wanna buy some nasty a** Dr. Pepper to get that sweet umbra visor.

I saw it on Joystiq, IGN and xbox360achievements. I'm pretty sure a sizable portion of people saw it, downloaded it and will enjoy it.

Between Microsoft's Return to Ostagar screw up and this....I'll be amazed if Bioware continues to do business with them

It was worst for me...I was able to get Inferno Armor and Collector Armor...but I already pre-ordered the CE from Amazon so I already had those. I was hoping to nab the Dr. Pepper/GameStop bonus, but alas, no avail. Oh well

Oh well, I pretty much have everything else (except for that sweet visor and the inferno armor, which is meh). Good on those who seized the opportunity.

Paid for CE, whilst people get the items for free. Awesome...

Where I live the CE edition costs 1/10 of the average salary.

In the US I'm fairly certain you can buy two CE-s with what you make in a day. And you people are complaining about content worth 10$?

Dude.... seriously?

Umbra Visor, says it's free and appears to be still available for download.

It was only up for a couple hours and it was in the middle of the night in America, like from 1 to 3 PST and it was only up on the US marketplace. I doubt more than a couple thousand people at most saw it in time.

The items were from promotional ads, from the Dr.Pepper codes and preorder. Nothing seen would've likely come out with the Cerberus Network.

If they were released on the Cerberus Network for free, then it's false advertising.

I get the message that it's not downloadable on the web Image IPB And I missed out on the other DLC too. Why did I had to be at school when this happened?

It wasn't all DLC - it was just the preorder stuff and the Normandy crash site mission. No Zaeed, no Hammerhead etc.

The understandable sadness about this is why Bioware needs to realize that retailer-specific promo items are a terrible idea.

I don't see how it's karma, the guys who downloaded all this and were just getting a normal copy essentially stole from everybody else. Karma dictates they would be the ones getting shafted, not the people who purchased legit.
