I saw it and hated that it was for xbox only, well that and the fact that they included the CE stuff, but I was extremely happy when I saw the rest. I hate extra preorder items, I can only get one...
All DLC offered for free, including preorder DLC, and then pulled.

Anybody that downloaded it through Xbox Live can have it removed, because it's not actually up on the marketplace and anybody who downloaded it did so through the offering. Anybody who downloaded it legit did so through the EA servers.

Wasn't punished for the Golden Lancer, wasn't punished for halfprice GOW2 DLC, wasn't punished for Fable 2 CE DLC and won't be punished for this.

It's Microsoft's own blunder, so I would expect them to be liable for it. Yes, it is unfair, but it's a very small number of people who got it free compared to those who actually paid.

You just see who downloaded it and disable it. Everyone who access the xbox360 must do so from an IP addresss or account name. You simply remove item from their account, their must be records of who did what and downloaded what

u see if these DLC were paid ones, like say the dragon age ones as example.
and it got released free out of an error, only then can they actually do something about it.
because thats theft.
these were all promotional FREE items, like lisakover said, all those past mishaps no one was punished. i have a gold lancer aswell thanks to that mishap lol
if they do, you could probably sue them.

I think in the future Bioware should do away with all this pre-order bonus crap, as it's only making bad publicity for itself.
I mean look at the number of threads which have been created by people complaining about the FREE DLC that Microsoft accidently (or on purpose) give away, different game retailers getting issued with exclusive armours (meaning people have to decide where they will have to buy their game from), etc.
I think with ME3 either give the content to everyone, or not at all.

Your actually wrong there.
The collectors items were exclusive to the CE game, which many people including myself paid a premium for.
No where in the description of the CE , at least the UK one, did it mention that these were free bonus items for the CE.

They sure ruin the experience for people to, because those who pre-order get a moster armor right off the bat, and much harder for anyone else, since they expected peoplo to have insane armor at the very start of the game
they sould release every ting for free, and not force people to buy dragon age, dr, pepper etc, to ejoy the game

Even though they have no intension of doing this aleast release the Blackstorm wep to everyone 2 months after launch because of the massive amount of hype for it, but to make it fair to those who preordered it, make it 120 ms points or $1.50 which isn't that bad no one will buy it for 160 or higher i think just a suggestion

It was a accident the problem is microsoft and bioware can't do any about it, if they ban peoples accounts for downloading content that was on their official website without releasing a statement to state it was a error they would put themselves in a posistion to be sued for miss conduct of a contract. it was a official link to the download on their website and they cannot release a patch to stop it because the items all have the same coding so that would stop those of you using collectors or termnius armor you got with your copys of the game.
