It's not really an issue until there are relatively dangerous enemies, like a dragon setting everything on fire, and my AI buddies, I dunno, deciding to stand in it and cry. I watched Solas actually stop casting a spell and run into a fire patch, then stand there and cast barrier, then stand there and shoot while saying "I need help." Yeah man, you do.
It's level 12, my party is level 8, so I will be coming back to it again later, but the only reason I can't kill this thing NOW is because the AI is about as dumb as a box of rocks designed by Wheatly and built by Bloody Stupid Johnson. My kids actually asked "Why does that guy keep running into fires." I dunno guys, he's a ****** elf, who knows. Elves are ineffable. Cassandra has a secret irony bent or something. She's hot. Whatever.
If there is an AI Tactics settings that is more in line with DAO and less in line with something that Bioware would have gawped at as being utterly, simplisticly stupid back in 1998 I would like a nudge towards it. Potion threshold and "Attack my target"/"Attack that stuff" isn't a tactics screen. It's a computer sciences lab afternoon assignment. What am I missing? Where is it?
