So I love the Dragon Age games, and I am hoping to get DA:I within the next couple of weeks on PC.

 

However, I've looked around and it seems like mods are not really going to happen. So, I have three questions:

 

1. Is it possible to reskin a creature, such as spiders (replacing them with hounds, for instance)? And is it possible to replace the related sound files? 

 

2. If so, would anyone know how to do so? (If I have to do it myself, assuming there's no mod by the time I get the game, 3-5 weeks from now.)

 

3. Are there console commands to kill and disable (disappear) NPCs such as spiders?

 

I have extreme arachnophobia. I can't even play Zelda anymore. I've heard there aren't terribly many spiders in DA:I, at least to start with, so I could survive it, but I'd really like to enjoy the game without panic attacks if possible.

Oh..well seeing as the only areas I've ran into spiders, most of the time you don't know they are spiders until they are right on you its so dark, that could be a problem.

I haven't encountered many spiders yet, but I've barely touched maps outside of the Hinterlands...where today I saw a giant spider kill a nug, like a nature documentary.
