I'm romancing Cassandra with a Qunari Inquisitor and so far I really love it. it's amazing!

Might roll as a female Dalish elf mage next playthrough for Solas romance since many people have been saying it's awesome.

Sex scene itself is very good (look at Cullen romance, it's damn hot!). But the dialogues After are a bit... I don't know, maybe they should've cover some skin with a blanket. It wouldn't look less sexy, imo.

That character should not have been included in the straight male romance group, since it is not one. She should have been the single option for disney hand holders, in a mature game.

But, you know, the thing is that there exist a ton of sexualities, so why shouldn't asexuals (people that do not experience sexual attraction - they can still experience romantic attraction, though) get a romance that is suited for them, then? Or at least as suited as it gets in a Bioware game. Go for Cassandra if you want to see some more skin.

I don't see why Josie's romance is Disneyesque (is this suppose to be a bad thing?) just because there's no skin. You don't see everything that happens off-camera, so to speak. It doesn't make her less available to straight male Inquisitors. :/

I have no problem with that, however, then it should have been a asexual bisexual option for people who like that. Not part of the straight male romance options.

No. Asexuals are male, female or anything in-between. Asexuality has nothing to do with gender. Josephine is bisexual and can be seen as asexual or sexual.

I feel like I should be annoyed, but I'm honestly more amused.

 

Anyway. From what I can gather, if you want to imply THINGS HAPPENED, there's no reason not to. It's kind of like the Jack romance in ME2. Heh, and 3, actually. Jack is the best. ANYWAY. Just because there's no sweaty snugglebunnies onscreen doesn't mean they're ruled out entirely. Granted,

 

I don't have the game yet. I'm still waiting for the mail fairy to be kind, as soon as the blizzard fairy CALMS THE *@#&@*@&# DOWN. But from what I've seen, (and my patience has snapped when it comes to romance spoilers, since I was all like "Girl, you know we're not doing a romance on the first playthrough, and everything of interest will get spoiled before we can finally beat this bad boy," and the angel on my shoulder was like "Seems legit") snugglebunnies will probably happen. Eventually.

 

And some people are super-happy with that romance. Sooooooo, yeah. Your mileage may vary. But Josephine is totally an option for a straight male inquisitor, even if she doesn't jump in your pants right away.

I'm currently playing as a female Elf Inquisitor, and was just wondering what people's opinions were regarding the two romantic interests that I'm impending to pursue? My chosen two are Cullen and Iron Bull, but was wondering what the ratio of 'romantic scenes' is for both i.e. who has more, the quality of them? etc.

No. Asexuals are male, female or anything in-between. Asexuality has nothing to do with gender. Josephine is bisexual and can be seen as asexual or sexual.

 

I get that, but as I understood, there is also such persons form straight female gamers, outside two whom actually sleep with the pc. Males have only one. I would swap Vivienne for the second actual straight male LI and give Josephine to asexual camp.

But... the PC and Josie could have had sex. There's nothing that definitively says they didn't, or did. It's ambiguous. If you want her and your Inquisitor to have a sexual relationship, then just assume there was a Fade to black after the smooching, like with Anders (who also wasn't nekkid for his love scene).

There are a lot of things I can rp in my head while gaming but as a mature game I want that to be part of the actual game scale, along with the dark story, gory deaths, torturing etc. Mind you, I would settle for DA2 style so no "pixel p0rn!"

Some don't even have it. Solas and Josephine don't have it. Iron Bull romance is being treated as a joke. They kinda make the game leans more toward one romance than the others and it's not cool.

That's fantastic. My two favourite canidates for LI and neither have cringy sex scenes. Aw yes.

I often find my opinion to be the uncommon on matters like this, atleast on the BSN, and I equate it to my asexuality.

I understand that sex is everywhere, I'd just rather not be forced into a sex scene.

I don't see how boobs and sex automatically = mature. In my experience that tends to be immature as it's mostly badly done and there for the sake of 'omg look a boob!' (Not that the way DA:I has done it so far is like that. From what I've seen it's actually well done, imo.) Same with 'gory deaths and torturing' but that's another topic.

 

Josephine's romance is still 'mature' even though there's no sex or nudity shown on-screen. Actually, I appreciate it's ambiguity. Leaves it up to the player to decide rather than shoving unavoidable sexytimes into their faces.
