So, anyone know the location of Quarries?

They are scattered out, I've found two, one in the Crestwood chantry area (its a hollowed out fort above the town), and the other one to the right of the dragon in crestwood

 

Wait scratch that, the chantry area is a logging camp, which you need those too.  Guess I've only found one quarry

You can upgrade something in "Inquisitor perks" named : Forward scouting. This will put points on your map where things like logging camps, and quarrys are

There's one quarry far down south at the Storm Coast before the cave entrance.

 

There should be two far west of where you start at the Western Approach.

 

I think there's one at the Exalted Plains and one at the Emerald Graves, although you really have to zig zag around that place.

Of all the three Skyhold upgrades I haven't seen any change in "A Superior Tower". Where am I supposed to notice them?

Climb the stairs beside Cassandra to get to the wall. Look to your right. The upgrading thing-y is there
