After playing DA:I for 12 hours I reached the point where Morrigan talks about the Warden.
Oh dear...
All previous references to DA:O and DA2 had been fine so far, correctly identifying events, etc.
However, Morrigan has just had a long delusionary chat with me about the Hero of Ferelden being a man who she had a baby with and deeply loves.
Hmm. That's odd. Maybe the Morrigan in DA:I is from a different reality, because my warden was female and knifed her in the stomach last time they met!
I have heard that this might be a common bug. I was hoping it was just a conversation error, but when I look at the three Playthrough World States saved on DA Keep, I find something even more odd. In all three, the states claim that the Warden was female (correct), and an Elf (incorrect). At least it shows she is still alive.
So, long story short - looks like Morrigan has gone insane and is lying to herself about what really happened, plus the Keep isn't doing a very good job of importing data from DA:I. Two separate bugs, seems like.
I'm not going to panic about Morrigan, but if other consequences start appearing based on incorrect info then I might have t just give up the whole playthrough, take a break for a month, then start again.
Most importantly - we REALLY need to be able to correct this sort of thing using the Keep, if there is ever a next game in the series. Ideally, I'd like to be able to fix errors while partway through a DA:I playthrough (so I don't have to start over after 12 hours!) but that might not be possible.
