I don't consider the pre-Skyhold part of the game to be boring or tutorial-esque. I found it to be effective at setting the Inquisition and your character up for what happens and how the events act as this stark realization of just what must be done. The contrast between the pre- and post-Skyhold part of the game does a good job of creating emphasis in the narrative for your character's role and the reality of the dire circumstances you find yourself in. I mean, the plot would be a little clunky and bizarre if it was just like "Oh, hey you! Lead our Inquisition and here's your castle" at the beginning of the game.
And I don't think there is a problem with that. As I said before I understand why the Hinterlands exist.
However, what I mean is the Wrath of Heaven's is extremely cutscene heavy.
I guess the best example I have is Skyrim, there is a way to save and make a character after the unskippable, long cutscene.
All I am saying is an option to say, Play the Tutorial or not. Wrath of the Heavens is a tutorialesque. And it's not my favorite part to do it over and over and over again, just to make a character
