Demons do seem to come up at least twice as often as the other two factions. Makes me wish we could choose what faction we fight.

I know what you mean, I had 5 in a  row yesterday. Followed by something different. Then 3 in a row. Demon commander wants to be slain excessively by me it seems

This only means you should be an expert at fighting him then.  Demon commander is only hard for low levels and people who don't know what to do against him.  Take out the lesser enemies, kite the boss until they are dead and then get to work on him.  As long as you are moving and paying attention to where hes gonna pop up you should have 0 trouble against him.

The point of MP is to be brutally killed by the demon commander.

 

We all have our roles to play in the Inquisition, and some of those roles are to be dismembered by demonic beings so that, when the Inquisitor saves the day, it looks like he or she had a hard job (as opposed to actually spending most of their time picking elfroot and slaughtering nugs)..

I can't carry my group vs demon commander when I'm leveling reaver.
I never said I don't know how to/can't beat him.
simply pointed out that I got him A LOT a couple nights ago.

He IS the boss that gives groups the most trouble, and sometimes I pug. And sometimes pugs don't listen/have bad group make up.
(Downed him last night in a pug as archer/archer/elementalist/me, reaver w/ axe that makes me take more damage. Possible? Yes. Rare? Oh yes)

I prefer to fight the Venatori. Love that pyromancer mage boss. Mmm...
