Dumb question about crafting materials.

So, I've been stuck on a couple particular missions due to a lack of certain materials. I've yet been able to find a source detailing what areas contain what crafting materials to make searching for these a tad easier. (For example, I'm currently trying to unlock the Assassin sub-class, and I've been 9 Deathroot short for a few hours.)

Until the Dragon Age wiki inevitably creates a guide, does anyone know of any other place on the internet with some sort of specifications on this subject?

Thanks in advance.

Hope that helps.

Thank you. That helps my immediate need, at the very least!

I'll just wait for the wiki to give a comprehensive guide. I'm sure it won't be long until that happens.

No worries.  As for the rest of it, I'm kind of flailing around, too. The only consistent plant I can find in every area is Elfroot... which I'm now convinced is an invasive species.

The codices for each area tends to have an entry at the bottom for what resources can be found in that map. It doesn't detail what areas of the map so there is still some searching to be done, but it can help eliminate pointless searches.

You can also check the war table for a crafting material particular for that area.
