I don't mind it once in a while, but dang. Need a break from this. Need to turn it off...like now.
How do you stop people from constantly auto joining on you?

I might be answering the wrong answer, but why not make a private match?
I've done that....but i'm just trying to pug now. I don't have a group.
I just want to pug in peace. Sometimes I just want to play and not talk...just chill out and relax. Sometimes I want to play and be a social butterfly
just not right now. That goes over some peoples heads it seems (not talking about you).
So yeah...I just want to turn it off or disable it.

If you worried about those damn mics you can press V while in game and mute them.

There is a mute option if you don't want to talk. There is also a private option in game if you dont want people to join you.

anybody from bioware that reads this....the person in charge of this decision. If you would kick them out of their chair, or maybe put excessive amounts of salt in their lunch...or anything like that? I would really appreciate it.

Are you drunk or something? People have answered exactly what you asked. If these are not the answers you are looking for, perhaps phrase the question differently?
You don't want to talk to people? Don't. You can mute players if you don't wish to listen to them either.
You don't want people joining your game? Host a private game.
If you are hosting public games and are then complaining that people are joining, then, well. Nothing nice can be said about that really...

I am not drunk.
It not that I don't want to talk to people. It's that I just want a small break from certain people. I have no desire to be a needless ****** to some people and I also don't hate them....just my god, I need some breathing room is all. They are online "friends" even if I make a private room they can still join. I know I tried.
This post is about people who know you and join off of the friends list. It has nothing to do with random gamers or pugs. Yes I can delete them completely. As I said, I don't want to be a ******, and I don't hate them....just need some breathing room. I have asked nicely for space, but it doesn't really work. Also many mutual friends. Also muting leads to message spam.
In GTA I can make invite only sessions.

Why does PS not have a stealth mode? Xbox rules
You can be "not available"
All it does is literally change a blue icon by your name to a yellow one. Thats it. lol

Well that isn't useful ha. You could join pugs as long as they are full? Just trying to find a solution.
yeah thanks, I'll do that. I still hope someone gets the bioware employee for me though ![]()

I'm sorry but this seems like a problem very specific to yourself. As far as I know, I haven't seen anyone complain with how people join too often... I don't feel like Bioware is responsible for this problem either. If you really don't like having people join off of you then simply delete them otherwise there is no point in complaining about it. To be honest, this entire post is really confusing...

Honestly, I want an option to turn off people able to single out your game to join, too.
They CAN and DO get into PRIVATE lobbies while you're trying to assemble specific teams (Example: My best friend and sister are new to multiplayer, so we're doing a game with just us 3 to get them levelled up a bit. Then these guys (I met once and accepted friend requests from since we worked well together) barge into the 4th slot and start cauing problems. "Pfft, kick these noobs and let's do Perilous!" Etc etc etc. Just because I happened to succeed at tanking Threatening with a level 9 Legionaire a few times or soloing an entire horde as an alchemist when we had a leroy aggro everything in an area at once by charging on ahead.
I want what Borderlands has: Public, Friends Only, and Invite Only. As it stands, "Private" games are anything but!
The option to join a friend's game is wonderful, and I was advocating for it because of frustrations with ME3 disconnects. But there's some people you just want to revoke that from without defriending them. The simplest and best way is to make 3 types of matches: Public, Friends Only, and Private.

I just mute them and them let them know i have no mic. If someone repeatedly joins session without asking, i just ask them not to in future. Failure to do that usually ends up with me deleting them.

I get friend requests constantly and just ignore them. I don't need a bunch of people I don't know from Adam clogging up my friends list. There's the solution.

When they auto join my game without asking, I rudely tell them "You just fucked my solo, next time ask first". They feel bad and never do it again. None of them ever unfriend me and it's working like a charm for me...

How about you tell your friends that you don't want them to ninja join your games? Why are you whining to us about it when there's an easy solution available?

So... what you're saying is that your friends are d***holes that jump into games without warning or permission? That's THEIR bad. Personally I hate that also, even if I do want to play with them. I've had MEMP solos ruined that way.
