Hi,

There was this announcement about Bioware abandoning Bioware Points and switching back to Real Money for DA:I. Any plans to do the same for DA2?

I am planning on finishing DA2 before I start with DA:I, and this includes playing through the DLCs. Since I am not interested in weapon packs, this leaves me with "Legacy", "Mark of the Assassin" and "The Exiled Prince", at 800+800+560=2160 BPs. But of course, and this was the point of BPs, the latter are only sold in packs of 400, so I'd have to buy 2400 BPs for the DLCs and thus buy BPs that I would never ever have any use for. I am not sure I want to do this, it won't bankrupt me, but the principle of it, being treated like a ******, is revolting. Heck, I suppose if the price of the 3rd DLC was 800 I wouldn't have a problem.

So, any plans to switch DA2 to real money too, or maybe make a DLC pack that would sell for a mulitple of 400 BPs, or make packs of 100-200 BPs?

100% agree.

I never played any Dragon Age games, now that DAI is out I want to buy all games DAO +all DLC, DA2 +all DLC and DAI

But comeon, i wont pay that much for DLC of games that are 4~6 years old, by that price I can buy 1, maybe 2 AAA new games.

Bioware points are never on sale and this points system is just stupid. Guess im not going to jump into Dragon Age franchise ever.

Same goes with Mass Effect 3. I want to play Citadel and Omega DLCs, but Bioware Points values of these DLCs isn't adequate to game pricing these days. Both DLCs would cost several times more than the game itself...

Um, Dragon Age: Origins was literally free on Origin just a few months ago. So I don't know about "never".

The topic is not games but bitcoinesque possible money laundry scheme called Bioware Points.

That not supported by any government virtual currency is never on sale.
