I haven't had the opportunity to play the game yet so I was just wondering something. Do companions or NPCs react to your choices in the game? I don't mean simple approval/disapproval notifications. I mean, do people in the game actually give their opinions about some of the things you do? I'm not expecting there to be anything major but I do remember Bioware saying that characters will often react to your decisions. Is it kinda like DAO, where sometimes, your companions will sometimes get into brief arguments with you if you do something that pisses them off? Such as  Sten challenging you to a duel upon bringing him to Haven or Alistair chastising you for the whole 'Conner incident' if you don't save everyone. I'm curious about the judgments in particular. Do characters ever have anything to say about them?

Yes companions will react to your choices and they will have different opinions.

Yes, certain characters leave if you choose certain actions, but I won't tell you which. Some of them confront you about your choices, even some NPCs. You can harden or unharden some characters in this game as well.
