It says I have to gain full approval of the Orlesian court to gain this trophy. I beat the mission where you choose who wins in the Civil War with my court approval at 100/100 however I did not get the trophy. Was this a glitch or do you get the trophy from something else?

I got it, but finished it off with 98. I had 100 before the fight in the yard though.
I didn't use the blackmail thing, if that has anything to do with it.

I did get it, and I had 99 when I finished the quest. I did use blackmail against Gaspard. It must be a glitch :/ Altho actually the achievement went off when I was already in Skyhold, not in Winter Palace.

I got it with 90+. I found all 3 blackmail thingies for everyone, and finished quest with telling them that they are working for me now.

I got 28/30 scandals, 7/15 caprices, 8/10 halla statutes, and 2/3 of Red Jenny's stashes. I did get all the black mail, used all I had on Gaspard to get him executed but used none on Briala and even accredited her with my findings.

That's because what you did. You must use blackmail at the LAST conversation. Having prove that all of them was kinda conspire, you can make them to work for you (all 3 of them).

I made a thread about this yesterday and found out that you can only get the achievement if you arrest the duchess. When you get back to the ball room and Cullen shows up, pick the 1st choice and the inquisitor will confront the duchess and expose her plot, you should get the achievement immediately.

Yeah when you talk to cullen chose the option to go confront or talk to the dutches do not pick wait for her to attck or go and grab her now. I can't remember the exact wording but it is in the way of you going to talk to her.

When I "rescued" the soldier that was tied in Celene's room, I got a -13 approval, but the overall approval stayed 100. 

I didn't get the trophy because I killed the duchess, but the consequences of killing her are hilarious! Anyway, I'm going for my 2nd playthrough, so maybe I will get it this time.

That has nothing to do with it.  The part before it, when you tell Cullen either to keep the Duchess away from the Empress (which begins a chase/fight scene after) OR that you will go and talk with her is the part to determine (other than having 100 approval) whether or not you get the achievement.

 

I made a bunch of saves and tried every possible outcome just to see how they all played out.  That was one of the last few outcomes I tried and the achievement popped the moment I confronted the Duchess in front of the court.

Reload and try it again ---- also check your journal at a save before entering the ballroom to ensure you have 100/100 approval in the journal specifically.  I have a save literally at the door to begin the cutscenes for that final stage in the ballroom from the Royal Wing where I have 100/100.  The achievement works on PC at least.

On PS4, I got the trophy to pop without having 100/100. You just have to have above 85 to confront Florianne and have her arrested in front of the ball. I had 86 approval, but had Florianne arrested in front of the ball, and got the trophy to pop.
