Has anyone encountered him yet? It's weird that they set him up in DA2 to be working in Orlais and then they just drop him entirely from the game. I was looking forward to getting explanation of who or what he really is.

I'm guessing whatever their original idea was for explaining his unique talents fell through, and rather than force a cameo, they just scrapped it.
