Yes different in personality perhaps. To use an example: If I wanted to express disbelief in the Maker in DA2, my only option seemed to be calling the Grand Cleric an idiot. But in DA:I I can say to someone I don't believe in the maker without being an ass. (multiple times too)

This heads the nail on the head, for me. This is pretty much, what I meant, when I said that it's also about how you word stuff. Also, at times I just wanted to be neutral. Say, "Hm, alright". Instead I was either making people cringe, laugh or cry. I mean, Hawke was really taking it to the extremes... Even if I did find Sarcastic Hawke pretty funny, if only for the lack of manners.

I do feel that the dialogue wheel lets you have a wider rage of opinions, moderate to extreme and that is really great. On the other hand sometimes it feels like the written text does not match with what I wanted to say or it is confused and not so much detailed. So I end up saying things I didn't expect coming by just reading the options. I think part of this could be blamed on the translation (italian). But anyway I am only at 30 hours . I am sure I will figure out how to better use the wheel.
