I'm in the hinterlands and currently having a blast, I'd figure I'd pop by redcliffe village before heading off to val royeaux for the main quest, mainly for nostalgia from origins Do I risk being creamed in combat if I head there now? I've just gotten my mount as well.
Is lvl 4 too low to head to redcliffe village/castle

Redcliffe village is closed until you've been to Val Royeaux. Once it's open, go there. If you can get in, you'll be fine for this part, but the following mage or templar mission has a level recommendation and I do not recommend doing it underleveled.
Also, shouldn't this be in the spoiler forum?
