Hello,

 

I have no idea what is going on here, I don't see an option to change my gender.

I went through this damn keep gate thing and imported my male character, but when I start, a chick gets up.

 

How do I change this?

The Dragon Age Keep is used to import a custom world state (the choices made in DAO & DA2).  Dragon Age: Inquisition uses a new hero instead of a returning character from the previous games, like the Warden hero or Hawke.  So what you are seeing is normal.

That's great, but I don't want to be a chick.. how do I change the gender?

When selecting a Race, there is a M/F toggle.

 

On PS4 it's L1/R1, not sure about PC but you can see it at the top of the screen.
