i was curious if there was some sort of list that shows which choices/quests made?completed in ME1 actually had an effect on ME2. More specifically Tali's Pilgramage?

I would also like to know this. I have a level 60 character with whom I did very few sidequests, and a level 50 character with whom I did almost every sidequest. Will sidequests effect ME2 in any way?

After you import your character it shows you a summary of the plot choices you made in the first game that have an effect on the second. Your character starts over at level 1, but the game will transfer some of your paragon and renegage points and will also transfer money.

I don't think the sidequests matter much, pick the character with the alignment that matches how you want this playthough to go. Note some characters may have died in the first game, so pick the game which has the characters you wanted to live still be alive.

It goes off the achievements you got in the last game, not the actual savegame itself, that is what I was told today by someone who works at gamestop...

I work at Gamestop and they never told us anything like that >.>

Having loaded it up myself and imported a couple seperate ME1 characters, it seems to run off the specific savegame with no attention paid to my achievements at all. It only seems to focus on 3 specific quest outcomes: Did Wrex survive, did the Council survive, and who was sacrificed on Vermire. Lacking an import, the outcomes seem to be set at: No, No, and whichever of the two possible sacrifices is the same gender as your character. Kinda hoping theres more hidden in there, but it seems doubtful.
