Hey all,

 

My wife is on a trip as of tomorrow for a week to visit her mother - and she's taking my 4 month old son with her.  I can't go as I have work commitments...

 

...now, I love both my wife and child more than anything in this world, but I'm not going to lie, when I realised this week away would match with DA:I coming out a big grin began to spread on my face.

 

So...for those of you already playing or who have completed your playthrough, can I get through the game in 5 days?  Say, start at 6pm and finish at midnight for 5 days straight...30 hours available...can it be done?!

You might be able to finish it in 35-40 hours if you do the bare minimum of side quests to unlock the main questline and play on a lower difficulty level but a proper, leisurely play through takes 100+ hours.

A bare minimum playthrough would take about 40 hours, but if you do it right and do all the side quests, then...

 

If you played DAO and DAII, add together the time you took to beat those and then double that, and you should be about right.

Don't rush it man, in a same kind of boat with a 3 month old, a 4 yr old and wife, time to play is kind of limited to a hour or two in the evenings but enough to savour the game and get excited about the next time ill get a chance to play! 6 hours would burn me out anyway. It's not an mmo so people shouldn't be rushing to max out!

Ah is there a lvl cap in this? Hit 18 last nite......god i'm loving this game!

I'm not entirely sure, but the soft cap may be a bit above 20, meaning that there technically is no cap, but it becomes nearly impossible to level up as you keep going on. Not sure if you earn skill points after the soft cap either.

28 hours in and just liberated my first keep... about 1/4 of the game through
