A 0 is silly of course, but I would rate it about a 5 currently. The side content is all terrible.

Actually reading some of the metacritic user reviews can be useful, the average isn't. A self-selecting sample isn't representative.

I don't know if anyone else has notice this but the majority of "0/10" reviews on metacritic are one review accounts made very recently. It's kind of sad that people feel the need to crap on something just to be a-holes. Sure DAI has some flaws, but it's still the best game i've played so far. I just hope that Bioware knows better than to base their bonus system off of user reviews. Some companies actually do that.

Don't even bother reading 'user scores'.  95% of gamers have absolutely no idea how to review a game, and the other 5% have an agenda.  Just read the professionals' opinions and take an average from there - as metacritic does.  You won't go far wrong.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.  See my post above, and thanks for proving my point ;)

So anyone who doesn't like sth about the game is a troll?

What are you talking about?  Of course an average is a representative.  LOL.

Maybe it's annoyed PC users angry at the poor optimization and obvious console port controls/UI and feel.

Nice one mate. I don't care either way if people like the game or not , I just don't get constant bashing of a game that you are no longer playing without constructive criticism.

What are you hoping to achieve?

His 'I'm a Troll' badge?  :D

The game is incredibly well optimized. Are people really complaining about that? I'm playing it at mostly high settings on a 4 year old PC.

Prior to GeForce driver update the game was very slow in my case

Now it runs more or less fine... as long as I pick lower level of graphics

Same goes for the one liner 10/10 reviews.

DA:O, ME1 and ME2 have a very high user score on Metacritic, while DA2, ME3 and DA:I have a low score. The critic score for all of those games is very high.

The Metacritic user score is remarkably accurate as opposed to the critic score.

Given time it'll all work itself out.   New games will be released and people will stop commenting except if they had an absolutely mind blowing time.  Those "trolls" you mention that give it negative reviews, won't bother to go back and keep up the hate.  Hate is something that is short lived.

EDIT :  Sorry to the person I quoted, it's not to you but to the OP.

Folk just have to pick settings that are commensurate with their equipment.  The vast majority of complaints from PC players, is because their machines aren't capable of getting good performance at the settings they are using.  Slight difference from the game 'not being optimised'.  However, there is still room for some improvement in certain areas of the game.  I'm sure that will come in the shape of even more optimisation from the engine and graphic card drivers.

Well it's representative of the people who post Metacritic reviews, I guess. But it's not representative of any wider group than that.

I mean I can't even play Assassin's Creed Unity, I am well below the "minimum requirements," yet I am playing Inquisition on mostly high settings. Optimization would be the last thing I'd complain about.

I think Bioware were less conservative with their minimum requirements than other recent games have been, and this is catching some people out.

I mean, the requirements are basically the same as BF4, aside from the Quad Core thing, but whereas BF4 was a nice 40 FPS/Medium settings for me, DAI is (in the Hinterlands, at least) 20-30 FPS on Low except for Mesh settings.

There are a lot of people who don't care about metacritic getting awfully defensive over the scores the game is getting.

For me the average user score (PC) reflects far more on my own opinion than the professional reviews.

OMG! The user scores are low on Metacritic...well hell let me uninstall the game

right now! After all most of the users on metacritic know what there talking about

and would never troll a game. A i hear it's now PC to hate this game too.

Well let me go back to playing my FPS................

Here is the rule I use when I look at Amazon for a product it applies here is well.

1)  Ignore the aggregate score.

2)  Ignore all 0/1 scores and all 5/10 scores.

3)  Read what the reviewer actually writes.

4)  Anyone who bases purchase decisions only on user reviews is a moron.

I would not ignore the extreme scores, but read the actual review part for informative details while looking past the actual vote. While looking at gaming mice, looking at some of the low 1 votes allowed to see some complaints that are helpful for me, as I try and avoid Tech issues. And some of the 5 votes have great detailed reviews that offer tips and info of a Player's POV of the game.

Well, then I guess I'm a moron.

Look, I'll go to any site and read what the reviews have to say any day.  However, if they all say, "0/10 Because the X won't work on Y" that gets old pretty fast.  And you start to notice trends.  For example, if ME1 were released today, there would be tons of complaints about one mission not working on AMD brand processors that are over 2 cores.  (I think)  Then, I look at when the reviews are written and when the product came out.  It's called being a responsible consumer.  I don't look at "professional" review sites for any game.  *cough*gamergate*cough*   Using my example from above, BioWare would've come out with a patch that fixed this issue.  The later reviews would actually mention this.

I mean, just look at Diablo 3.  About one half of those complaints are "Always online and they never said anything about it being always online!"  The other half of the complaints are actually legitimate complaints.   Agreed, there is a lot of trash to go through.  But there are some actually useful ideas that the community can come up with.

I wouldn't right now rate the game very high from what I have seen. Game should be as awesome in every platform for it to get overall high scores.

While you are at it, If you think that all the 0 are trolls, and only they make new accounts to posts 0, let's look at some of the 10 reviews, and reasoning behind their 10 :

Spoiler

There you go. Shiny isn't it ?

If a game is good, like DAI, i believe more in a note 10 than 0. No game, even the bad ones, deserve 0. So, yes, who give a 0 to a games its just a troll or a hater, like you, and deserve to be ignored.
