Hello. I am looking to try and unravel the mystery on how to place a creature npc on a placeable, or environmental object. My goal is to create a more or less good-looking enough statue but I seem to face the problem where while in the toolset I may place my npc on the pedestal object, in-game it will spawn at ground level.

Any help with this is appreciated!

Turn the placeable into an environmental object, or simply set the walkable flag to TRUE.  Then create a walkmesh helper and position it at the top of the placeable, where you want the creature to stand.  Bake the area and make sure the walkmesh helper has baked correctly.  Now you can place your creature, or place a waypoint and use the location of the waypoint to spawn the creature at run time.

The walkable area on top of the placeable also has to be large enough for that particular creature to be able to stand in. If there's not enough space, the creature will spawn in the nearest walkable spot that is large enough for it. The bounding box when you select and place the creature in the toolset should give you an idea of how large a walkable area you'll need. It may well need to be wider than the placeable beneath it in the case of a column or pedestal.
