I know all the advantages of pc gaming and i also know disadvantage too. As someone who plays on the pc as well, i have always had a console, what makes myself sorta laugh, is pc gamers on here calling the PS4 inferior, when the supposed pc gamers have these supposed high end rigs, i bet half of ya have this factory built low end pc's that ya stuck a cheap evga card in, and thats why some of ya are having so many issues.

And here is a good TIP, this supposed thing you call a console ( THE PS4 ) got news._.Its a midrange pc,and it plays Dragon Age dam near flawless.

So you tell all the pepole right now that have waited for this game 3 years and a half to play it on pc. to spend what 500  us dollars on a PS4?  including the game? 570 us dollars? What if they dont want to, what if the "whine" is to get things equalized? I dont whine myself I will play it on PC but that thread is lame, and I hope the devs will ban it, I want everyone to be happy, I dont want the console gamers to be sad at have less stragetic expirience in DAO and DA2 as much as I dont want the Pc gamers to feel sad about kb+m

 

 

Edit: It seems my emotion in this thread made it wrong, and forgot to remind "PS4" anyway, another thing I have wanted to say, what if I am a PC gamer that DO NOT  know anything about consoles? I am, and I really hate this threads.

I remember when i would play HomeWorld 2 online and my clan would get these gamers who would jump in our games causing so much lag because they were playing on a low end rig.

Yes the game may have been more optimised for you but why should I be forced to buy a low end PC box that is called consoles when im enjoying the game at 1440p 60fps? Plus I'm not shackled to Sony or Microsoft.

Do you know people who bought PC version, EA & BioWare have more revenues? Because they don't need to get tax by these 2 land lords

I have an Xbox 360 gamepad for my PC, which I use quite often. The game also ran pretty good on my PC.

 

Please tell me how a gamepad makes the game good, because the button mashing combat and boring filler content sucks with a gamepad too.

Is this their sales strategy, force PC gamers to buy an inferior hardware consoles compare to the average PC just to enjoy DA 3 ?????

Need to add in for Origin, EA earns more money because they don't need to set up a hard copy vesion of the game and I think the softcopy and the hard copy cost the same.

I built my PC with my own two hands. The game is running pretty well.

 

And even if it wasn't - surely waiting for a patch is a better bet than shelling out hundreds of dollars for a console I'd never use for anything else and another copy of the game?

Plus I've just re downloaded Origins for another playthrough at high res with mods after this. Would not be able to on the PS4☺

According to Digital Foundry the PS4 version is a mix of medium and high settings, which means my 4 year old PC is playing the game better than that. Also if I want a gameplad experience I can just... plug one in.

 

So no, I am not envious of the PS4 version.

I'm enjoying it just fine on the pc with mouse and keyboard. I tried to give a controller a go, but for some reason even though it recognised it, none of the controls worked, so I had to get used to the m & k.

There is a pic of my rig in my signature. I am currently running 1440p with a mix of high ultra and fade touched settings at 45+ fps. I switch between using my mouse and keyboard and a controller sometimes.

Consoles should cease to exist.

I dunno, most people wouldn't know a CPU from a hard drive. PCs are better if you know how to use one.

I have got pc version.. and my brother has got the ps4 version..ive played on both platforms and pc version simply blows the ps4 version away  graphics wise..especially if you have a AMD/ATI card in..theres a setting called mantle which is just amazing !!..

not knocking the ps4 version..but if you saw the games side by side you can tell a massive difference.

PS4 is a mid range PC! LOL I almost fell out of my chair laughing. Not really, you buy a PC with a gtx 750ti for what? 600 euros and it's superior to a PS4 in terms of hardware on all fronts, and that's a LOW end PC right now

Facts: PS4 and XB1 are both low end PCs utilizing AMD APU and using x86 architecture. When you get a PC it's an open platform which you can use it for various other stuffs like work, browsing, spreadsheets and including Gaming. You can game on a big screen TV with a PC with a controller as well.

 

You cannot do anything else with a console except for gaming and probably watching some show on your TV. Much that i heard about PC elitism, but it seems Console elitism is no better.

I'll play DAI on the PC if and when the controls are improved to my satisfaction and I can afford a quality machine. In the meantime, I'll be happy with the PS4.
